ConvertingEV.com has been on a mission to enable more people to convert to electric since 2022

Our Story

The electric transportation industry is evolving fast and technology is changing every day. When I was young I witnessed electric dominate the hobby remote controlled aircraft industry due to motor advancements making combustion engines obsolete. I became obsessed with electric motors and battery technology and knew that these advancements would change other industries soon. I went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering and have since obtained a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering and worked as a Systems Engineer in the Nuclear Weapons, Nuclear Energy, and Power industries. Being on the cutting edge of technology advancements has continued to fuel my excitement for the future.

Being raised near the famous Rubicon Trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, I grew up in the 4×4 world and quickly inherited the unhealthy addiction of working on cars and always modifying them to do things they were never engineered to do. So naturally, my two obsessions combined together to push me into the growing hobby of converting cars to electric. And that is how it started.
